Taiwan to invest additional US$1.2 billion in space program

Taiwan's National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) plans to invest an additional NT$40 billion (US$1.2 billion) in its space program. NSTC Minister Wu Cheng-wen emphasized that Taiwan’s strong capabilities in semiconductors, IT, and precision machinery provide a solid foundation for developing the satellite industry.
