Jesus

was led by the Spirit

into the wilderness

悪魔から誘惑を受けるために

受魔鬼的試探

to be tempted by the devil.

霊に導かれて荒れ野に行かれた。

被聖靈引到曠野

after fasting forty days 

and forty nights,

四十日四十夜。

禁食了四十晝夜，

after fasting,

断食した後。

斷食過後，

he was hungry.

空腹になられた。

就餓了。

The tempter came and said to him,

誘惑する者が近寄って来て言った。

"If you are the Son of God,

「神の子なら。

「你若是神的兒子，

command these stones to 

become loaves of bread."

これらの石がパンになるように

命じなさい。

可以吩咐這些石頭變成食物。」

But he answered,

イエスはお答えになった。

耶穌回答：

"It is written, 

Man shall not live by bread alone

「『人はパンだけで

生きるものではない。

「經上記著：

『人活著，不是單靠食物，

but by every word that 

proceeds from the mouth of God.

神の口から出る一つ一つの

言葉で生きる』

と書いてある。

乃是靠神口裡所出的一切話。』」

the devil took him to 

the holy city

悪魔はイエスを

聖なる都に連れて行き。

魔鬼帶耶穌進了聖城，

and set him on the 

pinnacle of the temple, and

神殿の屋根の端に立たせて。

讓他站在殿頂上，

said,

言った。

對他說：

"If you are the Son of God,

「神の子なら。

「你若是神的兒子，

throw yourself down,

飛び降りなさい。

跳下去吧！

for it is written, 

'He will command 

his angels concerning you,'

『神があなたのために

天使たちに命じると。

因為經上記著：

『主要為你吩咐他的使者，

and on their hands 

they will bear you up,

あなたの足が石に

打ち当たることのないように。

用手托著你，

免得你的腳碰在石頭上。』」

so that you will not dash 

your foot against a stone.'"

彼らはあなたを両手で支える』

と書いてあるからだ。

他會用手托著你，

免得你的腳碰在石頭上。』」

Jesus said to him,

イエスは言われた。

耶穌對他說：

"Again it is written, 

'You shall not put the 

Lord your God to the test.'"

「『あなたの神である主

を試してはならない』

とも書いてある。

「經上又記著：

『不可試探主－你的神。』」

Again,

the devil took him to 

a very high mountain

悪魔はイエスを

非常に高い山に連れて行き。

魔鬼又帶他上了一座最高的山，

and showed him all the kingdoms 

of the world and their glory, 

and said,

世界中のすべての国

々とその栄華を見せて。言った。

將世上的萬國與

萬國的榮華都指給他看，對他說：

"All these I will give you, 

if you will fall down and 

worship me."

「もしひれ伏してわたしを拝むなら

「你若俯伏拜我，

I will give this all to you."

これをすべてあなたに差し上げよう

我就把這一切都給你。」

Then

すると。

那時，

Jesus said to him,

イエスは言われた。

耶穌說：

"Be gone,

「引き下がれ。

「撒但，退去！

Satan!

サタン。

撒但！

For it is written, 

'You shall worship the 

Lord your God,

『あなたの神である主を拝み。

因為經上記著：

『要拜主－你的神，

and him only shall you serve.'"

ただ主に仕えよ』

と書いてある。

單要事奉他。』」

Then

the devil left him,

悪魔は離れ去った。

魔鬼離開了耶穌；

and behold,

すると。

看哪！

angels came

天使たちが近寄り。

有天使前來

and waited on him.

イエスに仕えた。

Now when Jesus heard that 

John had been arrested,

イエスはヨハネが

捕らえられたと聞いて。

耶穌聽見約翰下了監，

he withdrew into Galilee.

ガリラヤへ退かれた。

就退到加利利去；

And leaving Nazareth,

そしてナザレを離れ。

又離開了拿撒勒，

he went and lived in 

Capernaum by the sea, 

in the territory of 

Zebulun and Naphtali,

ゼブルンとナフタリの

地方にある湖畔の町

カファルナウムに来て住まわれた。

往西布倫和拿弗他利境內的

海岸城市迦百農去住。

to fulfill what was spoken by 

the prophet Isaiah:

預言者イザヤを

應驗藉著先知以賽亞所說的話：

"The land of Zebulun 

and the land of Naphtali,

「ゼブルンの地とナフタリの地。

「西布倫地，拿弗他利地，

the way of the sea,

湖の道。

沿海的路，

across the Jordan,

ヨルダン川のかなた。

約旦河東，

Galilee of the Gentiles—

異邦人のガリラヤ。

外邦人的加利利啊！

the people who sat in darkness 

have seen a great light,

暗闇に住む民は大きな光を見。

住在黑暗中的百姓看見了大光；

and for those who 

sat in the region 

and shadow of death, 

light has dawned."

死の陰の地に座る者に光が昇った。

坐在死亡陰影之地的人，

有光照耀他們。」

Jesus began to

イエスは。

耶穌開始

preach, saying, "Repent,

「悔い改めよ。

傳道，說：「你們要悔改，

for the kingdom of 

heaven is at hand."

As he walked by the 

Sea of Galilee,

he saw two brothers,

Simon, who is called Peter, 

and Andrew his brother,

すなわちペトロと

呼ばれるシモンとその

兄弟アンデレが。

就是那稱作彼得的西門

和他的兄弟安得烈，

casting a net into the sea,

湖に網を打っているのを

御覧になった。

在海裡撒網；

for they were fishermen.

彼らは漁師だった。

他們本是漁夫。

And he said to them,

イエスは言われた。

耶穌對他們說：

"Follow me,

「わたしについて来なさい。

「來跟從我！

and I will make you 

fishers of men."

人間をとる漁師にしよう。

我要使你們得人如得魚一樣。」

Immediately they left their nets 

and followed him.

二人はすぐに網を捨てて従った。

他們立刻捨了網，跟從了他。

And going on from there,

そこから進んで。

耶穌又往前走，

he saw two other brothers,

ほかの二人の兄弟。

看見了另外兩個兄弟，

James the son of Zebedee 

and John his brother,

すなわちゼベダイの子ヤコブとその

兄弟ヨハネが。

就是西庇太的兒子雅各

和他的兄弟約翰，

in the boat with 

Zebedee their father, 

mending their nets, 

and he called them.

父ゼベダイと一緒に

舟の中で網の手入れをしているのを

御覧になると。

正同他們的父親西庇太在船上補網，

and he called them.

彼らをお呼びになった。

耶穌就呼召他們。

Immediately they left 

the boat and their father

彼らはすぐに舟と父とを捨てて。

他們立刻捨了船，別了父親，

and followed him.

イエスに従った。

跟從了耶穌。

And he went throughout 

all Galilee,

イエスはガリラヤの全域を巡り。

耶穌走遍了全加利利，

teaching in their synagogues

会堂で教え。

and proclaiming the 

gospel of the kingdom

御国の福音を宣べ伝え。

宣講天國的福音，

healing every disease and 

every affliction among the people

民衆のありとあらゆる

病気や患いをいやされた。

醫治民眾各樣的疾病和一切的軟弱。

So

そこで。

於是，

his fame spread 

throughout all Syria,

イエスの評判はシリア

全土に広まった。

耶穌的名聲傳遍了整個敘利亞。

and people

人々は。

人們

brought to him all who were sick 

with various diseases and pains,

様々な病気や苦しみに悩む者。

把一切患有各樣疾病和疼痛的，

those oppressed by demons,

悪霊に取りつかれた者。

被鬼附的，

epileptics,

てんかんの者。

癲癇的，

and paralytics,

中風の者など。

和癱瘓的，

every kind of sick person 

to Jesus.

あらゆる病人

をイエスのところに連れて来た。

都帶到耶穌那裡，

And he healed them.

イエスは彼らをいやされた。

耶穌都醫治了他們。

And great crowds from Galilee,

こうして。ガリラヤ。

於是，從加利利、

Decapolis, Jerusalem,

デカポリス。エルサレム。

低加波利、耶路撒冷、

Judea, and

ユダヤ。

猶太，

across the Jordan

ヨルダン川の東側から。

以及約旦河東

followed him.

大勢の群衆が来て。

有許多群眾來

Great crowds followed Jesus.

イエスに従った。
