Luke Chapter 12
ルカの福音書 第12章
路加福音 第十二章
He said to his disciples,
それから、イエスは弟子たちに言われた。
耶穌對門徒說：
"Therefore I tell you,
「だから、あなたがたに言います。
「所以我告訴你們，
do not worry about your life, what you eat
命のことで、何を食べようか、
思い煩うのはやめなさい
不要為生命憂慮，吃什麼
or about your body, what you wear.
体のことで、何を着ようかと、
思い煩うのはやめなさい
也不要為身體憂慮，穿什麼
For life is more than food,
and the body more than clothing.
命は食物に勝り、体は着物に勝るからです。
因為生命勝於飲食，身體勝於衣裳。
Consider the ravens:
カラスのことをよく考えなさい。
你們想烏鴉：
they neither sow nor reap,
蒔きもせず、刈り入れもせず、
牠們既不種也不收，
they have neither storehouse nor barn,
納屋も倉もありません。
又沒有倉也沒有庫，
and yet God feeds them.
それでも神は養っていてくださいます。
神尚且養活牠們。
Of how much more value are you than the birds!
あなたがたは、
鳥類よりもはるかに優れているではありませんか
你們比飛鳥是何等地貴重呢！
And which of you by worrying
あなたがたのうち、誰が思い煩ったからといって、
你們當中誰能因憂慮
can add a single hour
自分の寿命をわずかでも
使自己的壽命多加
to your span of life?
延ばすことができるでしょうか。
一刻呢？
If, then, you are not able to do
so small a thing as that,
ですから、こんなごく小さいことさえできないのに、
這最小的事，你們尚且不能做，
why do you worry about the rest?
なぜほかのことで思い煩うのですか。
為甚麼還憂慮其餘的事呢？
Consider the lilies, how they grow:
ゆりの花がどうして育つのか、よく考えなさい。
你想百合花怎麼生長：
they neither toil nor spin;
働きもせず、紡ぎもしません。
它們不勞動，也不紡織。
yet I tell you, even Solomon
しかし、あなたがたに言いますが、ソロモンでさえ、
然而我告訴你們，就是所羅門
in all his glory
栄華を極めた、
極榮華的時候，
was not arrayed like one of these.
この花の一つほどにも着飾ってはいませんでした
他所穿戴的也比不上這花中的一朵!
which is alive today
明日は炉に投げ込まれる草でさえ、
今天還在，明天就投到爐裏，
But if God so clothes the grass of the field,
今日は野にあって、
神はこのように装ってくださるのだとすれば、
野地裏的草，神尚且這樣給它穿戴，
how much more will he clothe you,
なおさらのことではないでしょうか。
何況你們呢！
O you of little faith!
信仰の薄い人たちよ。
你們這小信的人哪！
And do not keep striving for
what you are to eat and what you are to drink,
あなたがたは何を食べようか、
何を飲もうかと、求めてはなりません。
你們不要求吃甚麼，喝甚麼，
and do not keep worrying.
また、気を揉んではなりません。
也不要擔心。
For it is the nations of the world
that look for all these things,
これらのものはすべて、
世界の異邦人が切に求めているものです。
這一切都是世上的外邦人所求的。
and your Father knows that you need them.
あなたがたの父は、
これらのものがあなたがたに必要であることをご存じです
你們的父知道你們需要這些東西。
Instead, strive for his kingdom,
ただ、神の国を求めなさい。
只是你們要尋求祂的國，
and these things will be given to you as well.
そうすれば、これらのものは、それに加えて与えられます。
這些東西就必加給你們了。
"Do not be afraid, little flock,
「恐れるな、小さい群れよ。
「你們這小群，不要懼怕，
for it is your Father's good pleasure
to give you the kingdom.
あなたがたの父は、
御国をあなたがたに与えることを、
喜んでおられるからです。
因為你們的父樂意把國賜給你們。
Sell your possessions and give alms.
自分の持ち物を売って、施しをしなさい。
你們要變賣財物賙濟人。
Make for yourselves purses that do not wear out,
そして、自分たちのために、朽ちることのない財布、
要為自己預備永不壞的錢囊、
an unfailing treasure in heaven,
尽きることのない宝を天に蓄えなさい。
用不盡的財寶在天上，
where no thief comes near
そこは盗人も近寄らず、
就是賊不能近、
and no moth destroys.
虫も食い破ることがありません。
蟲不能蛀的地方。
For where your treasure is,
there your heart will be also."
あなたの宝のあるところには、
あなたの心もあるからです。」
因為你們的財寶在哪裏，你們的心也在那裏。」
