Matthew Chapter 8

マタイの福音書 第8章

馬太福音 第八章

When Jesus came down from the mountain,

イエスが山を下りられると。

耶穌下了山，

great crowds followed him.

多くの群衆がついて来た。

有許多人跟著他。

And behold,

すると。

這時，

a man with leprosy came and knelt before him,

一人の重い皮膚病を患っている

人がイエスの前に来て。

有一個長大痲瘋的來拜他，

"Lord,

「主よ。

「主啊，

if you are willing,

お心一つで。

你若肯，

you can make me clean."

私をきよくすること

がおできになります。

必能叫我潔淨了。」

Jesus reached out his hand and touched him,

イエスは手を伸ばして

彼に觸れ。

耶穌伸手摸他，

"I am willing;

「わたしの心だ。

說：「我肯，

be clean!" he said.

きよくなれ」と言われた。

你潔淨了吧！」

Immediately

すると。

立刻，

his leprosy was cleansed.

すぐに彼の皮膚病

はきよくなった。

他的大痲瘋就潔淨了。

Then Jesus said to him,

イエスは彼に言われた。

耶穌對他說：

"See that you don’t tell anyone.

「だれにも話さないように

気をつけなさい。

「你切不可告訴人，

But go,

ただ行って。

只要去，

show yourself to the priest

自分を祭司に見せなさい。

把身體給祭司察看，

and

そして。

並且

as a testimony to them,

人々への証しのために。

為要對眾人作證據，

offer the gift Moses commanded."

モーセが命じた

供え物を献げなさい。

獻上摩西所吩咐的禮物。」

When Jesus had entered Capernaum,

イエスがカペナウムに

入られると。

耶穌進了迦百農，

a centurion came to him,

一人の百人隊長が

近づいて来て。

有一個百夫長進前來，

"Lord," he said,

「主よ。

「主啊，

"my servant lies at home paralyzed,

私の僕が麻痺病で

家に寝込んでおり。

我的僕人害癱瘓病，

躺在家裡，

suffering terribly."

ひどく苦しんでいます。

甚是痛苦。」

Jesus said to him,

イエスは彼に。

耶穌對他說：

"Shall I come

「わたしが行って。

「我去

and heal him?"

彼を直そう」と言われた。

醫治他。」

But

しかし。

但

the centurion replied,

百人隊長は答えた。

百夫長回答說：

"Lord,

「主よ。

「主啊，

I do not deserve to have you

あなたを私の屋根の下にお

迎えする資格は。

你到我舍下，我不敢當；

come under my roof.

私にはありません。

我實在是不配。

But

ただ。

只要

just say the word,

お言葉をください。

你說一句話，

and

そうすれば。

然後

my servant will be healed.

私の僕は直ります。

我的僕人就必好了。

For I myself

と申しますのは。

因為我

am a man under authority,

私も権威の下にある

者ですが。

也是在人的權下，

with soldiers under me.

私の下にも兵士たちがおり。

也有兵在我以下；

I tell this one, 'Go,' and he goes;

一人に『行け』

と言えば行きますし。

對這個說：『去！』他就去；

and that one, 'Come,' and he comes.

別の者に『来い』

と言えば来ます。

對那個說：『來！』他就來；

And

また。

此外

I say to my servant, 'Do this,' and

僕に『これをせよ』

と言えば。

我對我的僕人說：

『作這事！』

he does it."

その通りにします。

他就去作。」

When Jesus heard this, he was amazed

イエスはこれを聞いて驚き。

耶穌聽見就希奇，

and said to those following him,

ついて来た人々に言われた。

對跟從的人說：

"Truly

「まことに。

「我實在

I tell you,

あなたがたに告げます。

告訴你們，

I have not found anyone in Israel

イスラエルのうちのどこの

誰にも。

在以色列中，

with such great faith.

これほどの信仰を

見たことがありません。

我也沒有見過這麼大的信心。

I say to you that

あなたがたに言います。

我又告訴你們，

many will come from the east and the west,

多くの人が

東からも西からも来て。

從東從西，將有許多人來，

and will take their places at the feast with Abraham,

天の御国でアブラハム。

在天國裡與亞伯拉罕、

Isaac,

イサク。

以撒、

and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven.

ヤコブとともに

食卓に着きます。

雅各一同坐席；

But

しかし。

惟有

the subjects of the kingdom will be thrown outside, into the darkness,

御国の子らは外の

暗闇に追い出され。

本國的子民竟被趕到

外邊黑暗裡去，

where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth."

そこで泣き喚いて

歯ぎしりすることになります

在那裡必要哀哭切齒了。」

Then

それから。

然後，

Jesus said to the centurion

イエスは百人隊長に言われた

耶穌對百夫長說：

"Go!

「行きなさい。

「你回去吧！

Let it be done just as you believed it would."

あなたの

信じた通りになるように。

照你的信心，

給你成全了。」

And immediately

すると。

於是，

at that very moment

ちょうどその時。

就在那時候，

his servant was healed.

その僕は直った。

僕人就好了。

When Jesus came into Peter's house,

イエスがペテロの

家に入られると。

耶穌到了彼得家裡，

he saw Peter's mother-in-law lying in bed with a fever.

その姑が熱病で床に

伏せっているのをご

覧になった。

見他的岳母害熱病躺著。

He touched her hand

イエスが彼女の

手に触れられると。

耶穌把她的手一摸，

and the fever left her,

熱が引き。

熱就退了；

and she got up and began to wait on him.

彼女は起き上

がってイエスをもてなした。

她就起來服事耶穌。

When evening came,

夕方になると。

到了晚上，

many who were demon-possessed

人々は悪霊に

憑かれた者を大勢。

有人帶著許多被鬼附的人

were brought to him,

イエスのところに連れて来た

來到耶穌跟前，

and he drove out the spirits with a word

イエスはお言葉一つで

悪霊どもを追い出し。

他用一句話就把鬼都趕出去，

and healed all the sick.

病気の人々をすべて直された。

並且治好了一切有病的人。

This was

これは。

這是要

to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah:

預言者イザヤを通して

言われた言葉が

成就するためであった。

應驗先知以賽亞的話，說：

"He took up our infirmities

「彼は私たちのわずらいを

身に引き受け。

「他代替我們的軟弱，

and bore our diseases."

私たちの病を担った。

擔當我們的疾病。」

Now

さて。

耶穌

when Jesus saw the crowd around him,

イエスは自分を囲んでいる

群衆を見て。

見許多人圍著他，

he gave orders to cross to the other side of the lake.

向こう岸へ渡るように

命じられた。

就吩咐渡到那邊去。

And

すると。

有一個

a teacher of the law came to him and said,

一人の律法学者が近づいて

来て言った。

文士來，對他說：

"Teacher,

「先生。

「夫子，

I will follow you

あなたが行かれる所なら。

你無論往那裡去，

wherever you go."

どこへでもついて

行きます。

我都要跟從你。」

Jesus replied,

イエスは彼に言われた。

耶穌說：

"Foxes have holes

「狐には穴があり。

「狐狸有洞，

and birds have nests,

空の鳥には

巣がありますが。

天空的飛鳥有窩，

but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head."

人の子には枕する

所もありません。

人子都沒有枕頭的地方。」

Another

また。

又有

disciple said to him,

弟子の別の一人が

イエスに言った。

一個門徒對耶穌說：

"Lord,

「主よ。

「主啊，

first let me go

まず行って。

容我先回去

and bury my father."

父を葬ることを

許してください。

葬埋我的父親。」

But

しかし。

耶穌

Jesus told him,

イエスは彼に言われた。

對他說：

"Follow me,

「わたしに従いなさい。

「你跟從我吧！

and let the dead

死人たちに。

任憑死人

bury their own dead."

彼らの中の死人たちを

葬らせなさい。

葬埋他們的死人。」

Then he got into the boat

イエスが舟に乗り込まれると

耶穌上了船，

and his disciples followed him.

弟子たちも従った。

門徒跟著他。

Suddenly

すると。

海裡

a furious storm came up on the lake,

海に激しい暴風が起こり。

忽然起了暴風，

so that the waves swept over the boat.

舟は波にのまれそうになった

甚至船被波浪掩蓋；

Jesus was sleeping.

イエスは眠っておられた。

耶穌卻睡著了。

The disciples went and woke him, saying,

弟子たちは近寄って

イエスをたたき起こし。

門徒來叫醒了他，說：

"Lord,

「主よ。

「主啊，

save us!

助けてください。

救我們，

We are going to drown!"

私たちは死んでしまいます」

と言った。

我們喪命啦！」

He replied,

イエスは言われた。

耶穌說：

"Why are you afraid,

「なぜ怖がるのか。

「為什麼膽怯呢？」

you of little faith?"

信仰の薄い者たちよ。

你們這小信的人哪。

Then he got up

それから起き上がって。

於是起來，

and rebuked the winds and the waves,

風と海を叱りつけられると。

斥責風和海，

and it was completely calm.

すっかり凪になった。

風和海就大大的平靜了。

The men were amazed and asked,

人々は驚いて言った。

眾人希奇，說：

"What kind of man is this?

「この方は一体どういう

方なのだろう。

「這是怎樣的人？

Even the winds and the waves obey him!"

風も海も従うではないか。

連風和海也聽從他了！」

When he arrived at the other side in the region of the Gadarenes,

イエスが向こう岸のガダラ人

の地方に行かれると。

耶穌來到那邊迦大喇人的地方，

two demon-possessed men coming from the tombs

悪霊に憑かれた二人の者が

墓場から出て来て。

就有兩個被鬼附的人從

墳匞裡出來

met him.

イエスに會った。

迎接他。

They were so violent

彼らはひどく凶暴で。

他們極其兇猛，

that no one could pass that way.

だれもその道を通ること

ができないほどであった。

甚至沒有人能從那條路經過。

Suddenly,

すると。

他們喊著說：

they shouted,

彼らは叫んだ。

「上帝的兒子，

"Son of God,

「神の子よ。

「你來這裡

what do you want with us?

私たちとあなたに

何の関係があるのですか。

與我們有什麼相干？

Before the time,

時が来る前に。

在時候未到以前，

have you come here to torture us?"

私たちを苦しめるためにここに

来たのですか。

你來是要叫我們受苦嗎？」

Now

さて。

離他們不遠，

some distance from them

そこからずっと離れた所に。

有一大群豬

a large herd of pigs was feeding.

おびたただしい

豚の群れが飼われていた。

正在吃食。

The demons begged Jesus, saying,

悪霊どもはイエスに

願って言った。

鬼就央求耶穌說：

"If you drive us out,

「もし私たちを

追い出すのなら。

「若把我們趕出去，

send us into the herd of pigs."

あの豚の群れの中に

送ってください。

就打發我們進入豬群吧！」

He said to them, "Go!"

イエスが「行け」

と言われると。

耶穌說：「去吧！」

They came out and went into the pigs,

彼らは出て行って

豚の中に入った。

鬼就出來，進入豬群。

and behold,

すると。

忽然，

the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the lake

その群れ全体が崖を駆け

下りて海へなだれ込み。

全群豬都闖下山崖，投在海裡，

and died in the water.

水の中で死んだ。

淹死了。

Those tending the pigs ran off,

飼っていた者たちは逃げ出し。

放豬的就逃跑了，

went into the town

町に行って。

進城把

and reported all this,

悪霊に憑かれた

者たちのことなど。

這一切事和被鬼附的人所遭遇的

including what happened to the demon-possessed men

一切を報告した。

都告訴眾人。

Then,

すると。

不料，

the whole town went out to meet Jesus.

町中の者がイエスを

迎えに出て来た。

合城的人都出來迎接耶穌，

And

そして。

既見了，

when they saw him,

イエスに會うと。

就面見耶穌，

they pleaded with him to leave their region.

自分たちの地域から

立ち去ってほしいと懇願した。

就央求他離開他們的境界。
